As a lot of you know, I made some resolutions last year. One was to do some work for a children's charity and another was to set myself some new challenges ( The Dryathlon didnt really cut it!) Earlier this year I was given the honour of being asked to join Futures For Kids (FFK), a charity I have supported for some time. I also (in  a moment of madness) signed up to do the London to Paris event. This event is considered an endurance event as you have to cover over 100 miles a day for 3 days at a certain speed and it wont be easy for a novice like me and I am fearful I may not even finish. But I will give it all I've got! I will do my very best for FFK because the fear I am feeling is nothing compared to the fear that the children FFK support have to deal with on a daily basis. FFK supports children across a number of charities including Hope HIV,Every Child, Fairbridge, Demelza, Whizz Kidz and many more.

I will give it a go because I am incredibly lucky, lucky to be born in the UK, lucky because I am healthy and most of all , lucky to have friends and family who I am hoping will sponsor me to keep me going and support this wonderful charity.
