We are five Oxford students who have never run competitively before - our exercise has been limited to running late to lectures, interspersed with the odd Zumba class! However, we have decided to train for this 5km run, and here's why:

Cancer is a terrible disease which has probably, in one way or another, affected everyone reading this, whether you have experienced it yourself, have had to watch a beloved friend or family member suffer, or have even just been moved by the stories of strangers who have had to cope with it. Cancer Research is an amazing charity which is not only helping those currently living with the disease, but which also actively invests funds into Research - as is pretty obvious from the name! This is an amazing step towards curing this disease once and for all, and this is why we have decided to run for this worthy cause - we hope you will support us!
