Thanks for visiting my fundraising page, Macmillan is a wonderful charity and helps sufferers of cancer, their families and their friends. 

It seems that everyone knows someone who has had or is suffering from cancer and I'm no exception.  Macmillan offers so much support and gentle understanding that, sore backside or not, Paris here I come!

Between 16 and 20 July 2008 I have committed, with around 90 people, to cycle from London to Paris as part of Macmillan Cancer Support's London - Paris Cycling Challenge.  We will be cycling for 4 consecutive days and covering approx 500km.

It will be an extremely testing physical challenge, cycling over undulating countryside and in all weathers (make that a gentle 20°c with no wind and no clouds!).  Training has been... interesting shall we say, and the distances are increasing each week.  The event will be tough but I am doing this to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
