I started Msizi Africa when I was 26, had no children, no wrinkles, and could drink a lot. Now it's nearly my 40th birthday, I have two biological children to add to my 1,000 strong Msizi Africa family. I have lots of wrinkles and am powered only by coffee.
It's incredibly difficult trying to raise money coupled with the knowledge that we can't, and shouldn't, be around forever.
It's important to set up Msizi Africa Lesotho to be sustainable so we can leave Lesotho to the Basothos and enable our team to make a success of feeding their own children in their own villages.
We are building up a herd of dairy cows, who will produce milk, and the surplus sold will fund the food the feeding programme needs. We will invest in agricultural projects and not directly funding the programme by 2023. It's ambitious but we will do it.*
*if you help us buy more cows.
**and maybe in 2024.
FOR EVERY TEN POUNDS YOU DONATE, YOU RECEIVE AN ENTRY IN THE RAFFLE TO NAME THE COW. Go!
