Story
I have run in the past for it makes me feel better! This run is different..to run for a CAUSE is very touching and humbling. My special thanks to Netra Mahadani for motivating me to run for a cause and BG for giving me the confidence that I will be able to meet the target, and God for watching over me to be able to live and participate in this beautiful life!

My Dear friends,
I am happy to share with you that I was able to complete the marathon well. It was a blessing to be able to participate in such a great event! I am deeply touched by the people of London who cheered us for the entire 26.1 miles! The weather was absolutely kind, with rain and showers from begin to end.
The official time is 6hrs and 40 mins. However my actual running time is 6:10 mins, as there were really long ques for to use the toilets.
I thank you all for the support and encouragement that you have offered me. Thank you again!
Netra, again my thanks to you, but for your constant support I could not have done this.
Love and Peace

February 19th was a good day. I was able to run the Brighton half marathon(13.1 miles) in 2hrs and 50 mins. It was pouring constantly, however the spectacular sea on one side of the route kept us going. Our friend Praveen was absolutely kind in driving us to the site and back. Veeru [our team lead for running] was fantastic by buying us the most delicious hot chocolate once the run was over.
Between 25th and 26th of feb, myself and Netra have put in about 20 miles of running. The best part has been finding new routes. This week the plan is to run a total of 40 miles (crossing my fingers).
Feb 27 - March 4th
This week has been pretty slow...I have put in just 22 miles :( Will have to come upto speed soon...
March 5th - 17th
My practice was quite irregular. I was coping with submitting my course work and attending classes.
March 18th - 25th
Back to running as usual. Have put in about 34 miles. Netra has been absolutely supportive during our runs :)
April 2nd - April 8th
This was an intersesting week. I have walked everyday of the week, have put in great miles...covering Paris and London on foot :)
The weather in both cities has been great, with lovely sun shine. The best part of walks has been discovering the Hare Krishna restaurant on SOHO street near Oxford circus, where you get pure vegetarian food :)
April 9th onwards:
I have been practicing short distances 4miles a day. Doing a bit of stretching and really busy with my course works. London is beautiful with bright sun light. Every street has fantastic flower filled trees, every garden with a riot of colors…I am happy to be blessed to be a part of this wonderful city.
April 20th:
Today was the most wonderful day of my life. I woke up to heavenly chirping of birds. I cried, as the melodies that I heard is the first of its kind in my 45 years! There was something divine, as though someone was calling out to Gods! My special thanks to my neighbours for the bird feed that they have in their back yard. It seemed as though the birds were putting up a special performance singing to say thank you.
I am going to collect my running number and tag along with Netra. I am enjoying the anticipation. My average running speed is 12 mins/mile. For the big day I am planning to run at 15 min / mile. So I should be able to complete between 6-7 hours.
Once again thank you for your support and encouragement.
I need your support please drop me an email and talk to me...I need to keep going....I will update my page every Sunday and will share the progress with you my friend!
At this point ,
I have confidence in Confidence Alone!
Love and Peace
