Story

I'm running the Spartan Race in Cambridge on 19 September 2010.  That is, if you define "slogging 5 km through mud, crawling under barbed wire and jumping through fire" as "running".

The donations have reached £50, so I'm officially "running" this race dressed as Princess Leia in that outfit.  Thank you to the enablers of my impending absurdity!

I've raised over £100, so I'll wear her trademark earmuff braids as well.  Oh my, I am going to look very silly doing this, aren't I.

Update 7/9/2010: I've finished altering the costume into something I can run in.  Confirmation that I look silly is available in the photos.

Update 19/9/2010: I finished the race!  Thanks very much to you for your donations and to Francis for all his encouragement and for keeping pace with me even though he could have gone faster.
