Dear friends & colleagues

Just back from the Big Apple adventure after completing marathon in just under 6 hours!

What an amazing experience! I had a fantastic time running from one breathtaking bridge to another, through Brooklyn to Queens and then to the Bronx into Manhattan and Central Park amongst over 39,000 runners from all over the world...The vibrand rythms along the way and the great happy attitude of the New Yorker's kept me going to the end even though during the last 6 miles I thought I would never make it to the finish line!

Thank you to all your lovely texts and wishes on the way - priceless!

I am really grateful to all for your support throughout this challenge and for helping raise up to £1,500 for Whizz-Kids; it is much appreciated.
