The Lullaby Trust exists to keep babies safe and to keep grieving families supported. We fund life-saving research, empower families with expert baby safety advice and support grieving families through their darkest days. We won’t give up until no baby dies suddenly or unexpectedly.

Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. This is no marathon, but I have never so much as run for a bus before so is a big challenge for me, not least because bringing up my family doesn't make trips to the gym that easy.

As a parent of six happy and healthy children I feel lucky almost every day, but I have to say that the idea of their sudden death is certainly my worst nightmare. When this really happened to a little boy called Alexander who was just a few weeks older than my own twin boys, it really brought home to me how important prevention of these deaths is. Alexander's family have been incredibly brave in coping with the nightmare the rest of us dread, but they should not have to be. FSID works to support families in this terrible situation, and deserves the support of everyone who is  a parent.

Please dig deep and sponsor me online. It is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Foundation for the Study of Infant Deaths will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your support. Vanessa.
