This year my target is to put a few more yards between me and the guy in the chicken suit you can see just behind me as I crossed the finishing line last year! Completing the London Marathon last year was an absolutely amazing experience. So much so that I signed up for this years immediately. Running that final 3 or 4 miles along embankment with all the crowds on both sides and thousands of runners all around was incredible and the experience will live with me forever - I can actually say that in a kind of masachistic way I am actually looking forward to doing it all over again!

One of the great things about the day is the huge amount of money that is raised for worthwhile causes. This year I am running for Whizz Kidz which is a charity for children with disabilities. The money you donate will go towards buying equipment for these children to do everyday things that we take for granted such as moving around. Every pound you donate will make a real difference to a young childs life so please give what you can.
