Story
My aim is to reach the summit of Mount Everest (8,848m/29,035ft) and raise £29,035 (£1 for every foot i climb) and dedicate this sum in total to UNICEF's various global campaigns.
Note: The expedition is entirely self funded. ALL money donated will go directly to UNICEF
I leave for Nepal on the 1st April and it will take 72 days on the mountain to hopefully summit/ descend safely to Base Camp and then travel back to London
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: UNICEF will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no extra cost to you.
So please sponsor me now ! This in an ambitious task and i am looking for ambitious sponsors! Every little bit no matter how small will help towards the cause
UNICEF has influence in over 190 countries worldwide to protect and promote the rights of all children. We are living in a time where the need for humanitarian emergency aid could not be greater and UNICEFs global reach is far beyond that of any other other children's charity you might donate to.
Many thanks for your support
Nick
