Farleigh Hospice provides hospice care & support to people affected by life-limiting illnesses. With approximately 40% of our annual running costs funded by the local NHS, we rely on the goodwill of the local mid Essex community to contribute to the £21,271 it costs to provide our services each day.

Story

Over the next 2 weeks I am attempting the National Three Peaks and cycling from mountain to mountain, Wales to Scotland. I'm doing this self-supported, carrying everything I need on the bike with me for the roughly 800km journey.

I am attempting this challenge to raise money for Farleigh Hospice. My mum, Rachel Penny, passed away in 2017 after a three year battle with a brain tumour. Farleigh was there for her, and our family, at every step and provided unfailing care and support. The work the staff undertake was vital for us and continues to be for families like ours. Any donations will be hugely appreciated and will help keep this essential service running.

I aim to complete this challenge inside 2 weeks. I'll be camping most nights, and staying with friends and family and the occasional Airbnb when needed. I aim to have a GPS tracking link so those interested can track my progress, and will post regular updates to this page. My rough route can be viewed here:

Please donate, share and encourage others to do the same!

Cheers,

Nick
