At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

Credit Suisse is hosting the third annual Moto2Be motorcycle tour. On 24 September this year we will be crossing the channel to ride through six countries in three days covering nearly 900 miles, all in aid of Alzheimer's Society.

Last year, Leo and Nick were two of “The New Boys” to the event but now, as seasoned veterans they are (slightly masochistically) very much looking forward to all of the numbness that comes as par for the course, especially as this year's event will be far more gruelling than before, covering greater distances and with far more challenging map-reading and unfamiliar road signs!

The key is, although not your standard charitable feat of endurance, we are doing this in aid of Alzheimer’s Society. Please support Alzheimer's Society, by sponsoring us today.  Any help you can give in the form of a donation, big or small, will be gratefully received.

1 in 3 people over 65 will die with dementia. Credit Suisse's Charity of the Year, Alzheimer's Society is here to ensure that nobody has to go through dementia alone. Our fundraising is helping to support the charity's national dementia helpline which receives over 20,000 enquiries a year. For many people with dementia and their loved ones the Alzheimer's Society helpline is the first place they turn for information and support.

It costs £12.50 for just one call to be answered and for that person to receive the information they need to live with dementia. Please dig deep.

Many thanks,

Leo and Nick
