Every year I say 'never again!!' but there is something that is bizarrely addictive about running 26 miles around the streets of London on a Sunday morning in April. Maybe it's the atmosphere generated by the crowds along the way, the closest I will ever get to feeling like a top sportsman, cheered by thousands lining the streets (it is possible to imagine they are all cheering for you!). Maybe it's the masachist in me, wanting to put myself through that last 8 miles of pain. Maybe its the satisfaction that comes from participating in this great event and at the same time raising some money for a very worth while cause. Whatever it is.....I'm going to be on the start line again for the London Marathon in 4 weeks time!

My training has been limited to say the least so don't expect to break any records but as they say "it's the taking part that counts". So for those of you who would like to boost my motivation and at the same time help some children with disabilities please do so by making a small donation. Many thanks indeed.
