Story

As you know, us Pysden's love a challenge and the Vado Velo is no mean feat!

A 240 mile bike ride over 3 days from Calais to Reims will be punishing but with an extremely worthy cause at the heart of it (and we don't mean the fact that we're cycling to the home of Mumm)!

We are taking on this huge challenge with the Vado team to raise money for the African Children's Fund and their Kenyan Schools Programme and would be very grateful for any donations to help us meet our ambitious target.

The money we raise will help six schools located just outside Thika in Kenya. The schools and the teachers are funded by the government, but no meals are provided and clothes and books are handed down or donated.

We want to help these children get the best start in life the money raised will put food in their bellies, give them dignity and pride in their school, put a smile on their face when they play sport, and most importantly show them kindness and humanity.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
