Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I'm sure any of you who are visiting this page know exactly who Rubi is, but for those of you who don't...

Rubi is my 4 year old Shih tzu, she is taking part in an event called 'Woofs and Wellies' in Croxeth Park on Sunday 21st September 2014. She will complete a 6k walk to raise as much as she can for the amazing team at Woodlands Hospice, base in Aintree hospital, who care for the terminally ill.

Rubi is a stubborn little dog who pretty much does what she likes when she likes, so this is a challenge both for her and for me and my family, who will be doing the walk with her.

Rubi is fundraising in memory of a few people this year, the first our Auntie Jan who we lost to Ovarian cancer in 2012, one of Rubi's most favorite people, Rubi spent time with my Auntie Jan up until her last few days here with us, and still managed to make her smile even through the toughest days...

Secondly, a former work colleague Erdene who sadly spent her last days at Woodlands hospice. Erdene was one of the bravest, funniest, most intelligent people we where lucky to have got to know, may her memory live on through her beautiful family and friends.

Finally Pat Sage, a lovely lady who will be sadly missed my all of her family and friends, this is for all of you.

Every penny counts so please give what you can so we can continue to support the patients and families who spend there last moments at Woodlands.

Rubi and I would like to thank you in advance for taking the time out to take a look at our page,

Lots of woofs
