Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Please take the time to read our stories and donate something to help Cobalt.

Thanks, Nige and Dave.

Nige's story.

Jumping out of a plane at 13,000ft......... I dont even do step ladders!!

But this is something I want to try, so, why not give a little back in the process? So this is happening on September 9th at the Hinton Skydiving Centre at 12.30pm.

After 2 members of my family have won the battle against cancer, one member having two different types on different occasions I chose Cobalt as my charity to jump for. This is going to be a massive challenge for me personally as I'm petrified of heights.....

As it's a challenge I wanted to face I will be footing the fee for the jump myself maximising my donation to Cobalt, so every penny you donate through our page will go directly to them.

So please dig deep and donate now.

Dave's story.

My family have suffered a number of losses to cancer related illness over the years. I am thankful for the assistance and care of all the care workers and hospices involved so would like to help raise funds and awareness of a very worthwhile charity.

As the saying goes "a stitch in time saves nine". Hopefully the continual funding and support of Cobalt will help prevent more families suffering. Hopefully, a diagnosis in time will save somebody you know.

For those who know about Nige's fear of heights then don't worry, I'm going to make sure Nige does not chicken out!
