Virgin London Marathon 2010 · 25 April 2010 ·
Hiya everyone.
I've been putting this off for years but I thought 2010 should be my year to run the London Marathon, and what better charity to raise money for than Spinal Injuries Association (SIA)? Most spinal cord injuries result in paralysis and lives can be turned upside down in a flash. All money donated will go towards supporting patients with disabilities from spinal cord injuries, from the moment their injury happens through to regaining independent living and beyond.
I know most of you know I run a hell of a
lot already but most of my running is off-road on rainy hillsides. I've
never run a road marathon before so this will be a new challenge for
me. I really want to get a good time in the LM so I can garuntee you
I'll be putting every last effort into it. Only being sick and losing
continence at the side of the road will prevent me from going over 3
hours 30 minutes, and all of your donations will be giving me the
mental drive I'll need to pick my legs up. I need to raise £1500 for
SIA in order to take part so PLEASE GIVE GENEROUSLY and don't forget to
tick the gift aid box!
Thank you all in anticipation and thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
