Story

Hi and thanks for visiting my page.

I have done my skydive today 29/03/2011 at Headcorn in Kent. It was the most amazing experience ever and I loved it ;-). I did this jump to raise money for the Pituitary Foundation and my workplace the RSPCA Mallydams Wood in Fairlight, East Sussex

The Pituitary Foundation is a national UK charity, which is working to provide information and support to those living with pituitary disorders, including patients, their relatives, friends and carers.

They also work to increase public awareness and act as a 'Patient Voice' in order to improve services and policies to meet the needs of the pituitary population.

Having a pituitary disorder myself, the pituitary foundation have been a great help with providing accurate information on my condition and medications. The local support group also helps put you in contact with other people who have the same disorder.

RSPCA Mallydams Wood is a wildlife rehabilitation centre and I work there as a Veterinary Nurse. We treat all species of British Wildlife, rehabilitate them and release them. I get involved in some of the post release monitoring of various species including the radio tracking of hedgehogs and buzzards. It is a very rewarding job but can be very frustrating too. On nearly a daily basis we see how the actions of man can have such negative effects on some wildlife and make their survival in the wild very difficult. We aim to also help educate as many people as possible to how they can help us look after wildlife.

Unfortunately you can not make a just giving page for 2 charities. I also have sponsorship forms and I will make sure that all sponsorship does gets split 50-50 between both charities.

I know times are hard financially for most people at the moment but any sponsorship however big or small will be very greatfully received.

Thankyou very much :-)
