Practical Action is an international development organisation that puts ingenious ideas to work so people in poverty can change their world.

Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: ITDG will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

ITDG is the Intermediate Technology Development Group - their website www.itdg.org tells you about the work they do.

I trekked with my brother, Mark (who is also a hospital worker) to near the Everest Base Camp in October / November 2004. We did not actually visit it, but we saw it from the 5,545m (18,188 ft) Kala Pattar peak. We also crossed the Cho La Pass and climbed Gokyo Ri, both at similar heights. We funded the trip entirely ourselves so all donations are for ITDG only.

So please sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your support. Nick Tulley.
