Story
Since I was 16, running has been the only sport I'm good at, enjoyed and find solitude in. Just like eating, reading, bathing or sleeping, running has always been a part of my daily routine and one of the things I hold dear in my life.
Based on facts from the World Health Organisation, as of 2010, 285 million people are estimated to have diabetes where 90% of them is Type II. By 2030, this figure is expected to double.
I have chosen to run the British 10K London Marathon for DRWF because my mom had suffered from Type-II Diabetes (genetically inherited) sometime after I was born until today. There are no absolute cure for it at the moment; only ways to suppress and manage it through means some people see as painfully enduring. But despite that and her busy schedule living up her passion in teaching, never have once she failed to brought me up decently, be there when I needed her most and provide me with a comfortable upbringing; thanks to scientific progress and the awareness regarding on how to manage diabetes which is part of the efforts from organisations like DRWF.
So instead of running for my own self, I think it's about time I run for a cause, a cause I can relate to closely in my life through something I'm good at.
Details about the run can be found as below:

Thank you so much for the support.
