At the end of this month I celebrate my 50th birthday and instead of thinking about what I will get for my birthday I thought what about doing something to help others instead.   So I then thought what.  

Most Saturdays I drive the 80 odd miles to visit  my dad in Owen Mor care home .    He is a resident there and suffers from Vascular Dementia.   So that sorted out the what...Alzheimers/Dementia. 

He is a wonderful man and father.   But his condition has had such a traumatic impact on him, his lifestyle and those around him that I felt the need to do something to raise some money in order to assist with research into the condition.

So on the 28th October I will be having my flowing mane removed.  If you would like to make a donation it would be greatly appreciated.
