Story
I’ve had some priceless experiences with my head of hair - like getting my hair soiled in soup or porridge while eating. This was particularly bad when it happened in public places. There have also been many people wanting to touch my hair but were too afraid to ask. And those that mustered up the courage to ask were never really sure what to ask. I’ve had many strangers come up to me to ask about my hair. I’ve even been shown a dog with fur that looked like my hair. Striking resemblance!
I had serious trouble trying to find a large enough swim cap as well and when i did find one, me, trying to get it on my head, must have been a more sore sight than Rowan Atkinson trying to change into swim wear in front of the blind man.
Oh and trying to get a helmet on my head at the Go Karting track was another drama!
Now, after 6 years of fun, long interviews at the immigration counter, stares at passport control, and many questions about and requests to supply pot/weed/ganga/Marijuana/herb, I've decided to change my identity :-). I'm cutting my long flowing locks.
I am using the opportunity to raise some funds for a charity. Having two wonderful kids myself, i've chosen a children's charity. I hope that in some small way, this will make a differnce to at least one life somewhere.
Please sponsor me as i cut my locks.
I'm expecting the locks to go by the first week in February 2009! I'll update the picture then.
Thank you for visiting my fund raising page.
Please give generously and God bless!
