We are the lovely Noguettes and we are racing Nooka to France as part of the Ladies who Launch challenge!

This isn't just for fun ladies and gents, this is for a wonderful charity called Help for Heroes that is doing amazing work with our returned heroes. Dig deep for them, not for us. This is a very worthwhile cause and our humble dash across the channel is merely to bring the message to you that our heroes need your help.
Nooka, our beautiful boat who will carry us to France proudly, is a Sunbeam 44 - a monohull sloop built in 2006. Our skipper Hannah
was first mate to her Husband Matt for an Atlantic crossing aboard Nooka with
the ARC in 2007. Since Hannah's husband died in 2008 Hannah has been slowly
building up experience and confidence as skipper of Nooka and this event will be
her greatest personal challenge yet.
The crew all bring their own personal experience and personal challenges to
the crossing - including Zoe's
personal challenge being to get across without vomiting, or if that can't be
achieved at least without vomiting on anyone else.
Lucy has sailed many exciting races but knows this one will also be a memorable one. Karina wants to make a small humble challenge compared to the hero guys count. Bonnie is keen to spare her hands to help, and Helen wants to make this a day to remember like no other....
