1000 Members Celebration Charity Ride · 29 July 2020

Blood Bikes Cumbria provides a free urgent/emergency transport service across Cumbria for NHS Hospitals Trust and the Great North Air Ambulance. We transport blood & related products using a fleet of motorbikes & cars; are totally dependent on charitable donations and is run entirely by volunteers.

Story

🎉🎊 The North West Bikers (Cumbria) group is about to hit 1000 members!! 🎉🎊

To celebrate, we would like to raise £1000 for charity, for our 1000 members!

Therefore, admin and some members are planning a charity run, from Workington Docks (area close to the Steam Packet Inn) to the Tram Roll, Keswick. From there some members will go for a run in to the lakes, anyone is welcome to join. The run will take place on Wednesday 29th July, meeting at 6pm to set off at 6:30pm. If you don't want to do the run, but still want to get involved, you can meet us at the Tram Roll at 7pm. 🏍🏍

It has been decided, by the members of the group, that all donations will be for the Blood Bikes in Cumbria. Blood bikers from the charity are going to meet us at the tram roll on the night for a chat and to receive the donations.

The owner of the Tram Roll, Mark, has kindly said that all money made from tea and coffee sales between 6-8pm on the night will also be donated to the blood bike charity.

Please donate what you can! Thanks.
