I have done these fundraisers a few times now and they have made a massive difference for the branch.  As an independent charity (charity number 223367), the branch relies very much on fundraising events to be able to continue their work.  Hopefully we can make this one a huge success!!

I started doing fostering for the branch a few years ago and since then my involvement with the branch has grown. I really do love it. There are some amazing people who volunteer so much time to provide care for the animals in the branch. With no rescue centre and a lot (and I mean a lot!) of animals coming through the branch, volunteers work really hard caring for them in their homes.

There are many mouths to feed and many vet bills to pay - as you can imagine, not all of the animals arrive in the best way and need a lot of care and attention. Just to give you an idea, the branch currently has in care, 71 small furries (this can be anything from hamsters, hedgehogs, rabbits, snails, birds, the list goes on), 42 cats and kittens, and 6 dogs.  

Many of these animals would not have been given a chance if it wasn't for the dedication of the volunteers and the people working with them.  The more we can raise for them, the more they can continue to provide this very special support to our furry friends in need.
