Hello All, I am participating to Care Egypt Challenge supporting women's projects in Egypt. How your support is making a difference CARE International is one of the world’s top three aid agencies, fighting poverty and injustice in over 87 countries around the world and helping vulnerable people each year to find routes out of poverty.   We are deliver long term programmes to fight poverty, and are always among the first to respond to emergencies.  CARE has worked in Egypt for more than fifty years.  When we first started, we focused exclusively on providing food to starving people.  Today our initiatives focus on women’s rights, and building the skills and strengths of people and local institutions to solve their own problems.  Please find attached some more information about CARE Egypt’s work.   The funds that you raise will make a real difference to the lives of some of the world’s poorest people, and without supporters like you, we simply would not be able to continue our work – thank you very much. CARE Egypt Challenge The Challenge The CARE Egypt challenge will take place around St Catherine’s, situated in the heart of the Sinai Peninsula. On this challenge you will be led by Bedouin guides to tackle three mountains over three days. This includes Mt Catherine, the highest mountain in Egypt, where at the summit you will be rewarded with stunning views of the whole of the Sinai.The area is sacred to three world religions: Christianity, Islam and Judaism.
