WCTT delivers exciting & innovative theatre education projects in London Borough of Merton. Our Young Actors Company (YAC) provides high-quality acting training, giving young people a safe space to create exciting and challenging theatre on a professional stage. Changing lives through the arts.

Story

On May 1st, seven brave souls from New Wimbledon Theatre will take on 10 terrifying miles of mud, sweat and tears in order to raise money for local charity WCTT. We're doing this because we think that WCTT is a great cause! In the last ten years they've worked with over 40,000 young people in Merton, including some of the most disadvantaged and marginalized in our community. The work they've been doing has had a huge effect too- just check out the video below!

We’re hoping to raise £10,000 towards WCTT’s community projects- which this year include working with teenage girls to improve their mental health and a film project with a group of Special Needs young people aimed at helping them stay safe when out on their own.

Tough Mudder will be gruelling, with 20 terrifying obstacles such as the Backstabber, the Cage Crawl and the Block-Ness Monster but we’re up for the challenge and already in training- we have just three months to get super-fit! The staff here at NWT and at ATG venues across the country are all cheering for us, so please support us if you can and help fund a brilliant local charity.

Donating through Just Giving is simple, fast and secure. Your details are safe – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send the money directly to the charity.

Thank you for your support!
