10 years ago my Grandma 'Nonny' passed away. She was the most amazing woman; caring, sympathetic but also feisty and assertive. I think about her all the time. 

Sadly Nonny developed Alzheimer's. Her last 5 years were really tough.

I have seen this disease up close and personal and it is crushing.

Triona and I will be raising money for Alzheimer's Society; contributing to research, campaigning, and social support services.  

On the 7th of May I will be taking part in Tough Mudder (London West) - 12 miles, 20 obstacles; & on the 28th of May (my 31st birthday) Triona and I will be running the Manchester half marathon - 13 miles.
