We are a team of community staff nurses (and friends) working within the Calderdale area who are organising a charity cycle ride around Norland Moor in Halifax. Our aim is to raise awareness of Jane Tomlinsons recent 4500 mile cycle ride across America. All money raised will go towards Janes Fund which supports a number of charities such as SPARKS and Macmillan Cancer Support. The team will meet at 1.30pm on Sunday October 8^th at the New Rock Inn at Barkisland, and the ride will commence there at 2pm. We aim to complete 4 laps of 4 miles each, stopping at a different pub on each lap, and ending the ride at the New Rock Inn.

We are also looking for bicycle companies who may be able to donate some cycle safety helmets for team members to use throughout the ride, due to most of us having not ridden a bike for years.
