We fund suicide prevention training to reduce teenage suicide rates in the UK

Story

On Sunday 1st May 2022, it will be four years since Oli took his own life at the tender age of 16.

To mark this day The Oli Leigh Trust is launching their social media fundraising campaign #orange4oli. Orange was Oli’s favourite colour and so the charity is reaching out to all its supporters to take a picture of themselves with something orange, post it on Facebook/Instagram and to tag three friends to do the same with a minimum donation of £3 on this JustGiving page. The charity managed to raise over £11,000 in 24 hours last year. Let’s try and better it this year.

Suicide is the leading cause of death in young people under 35 in the UK. 100% of the money raised will go towards helping fund suicide prevention and awareness through training, education and support.  More information about this campaign can be found on their website www.theolileightrust.org.
