Tamil Aid is a small charity with an aim of relieving poverty and distress in the war and tsunami affected areas of Sri Lanka. We provide help to local charities, schools and care homes who look after children in Orphanages and for educational projects. Trustees and volunteers work free of charge.

Story

Hi there,

Congrats for landing on this site.

With your donation you are going to make an real impact in the life of 70 young orphans in Sri Lanka.

These kids have been living under really bad conditions for the past few years; sleeping, living and studying together in non-human conditions.

Please have a look in the gallery to understand what we are talking about.

So, as we are a very small charity and have no operational costs, all your money will go towards the new orphanage.

We would be very grateful for your donation and we are looking forward to keep you up-to-date about the difference your money is making in Sri Lanka!

Thanks,
Ari, Moe, Mike & Kofi
