Story

A place to remember Geraldine

We have sponsored the restoration of a gorgeous picnic table situated at Lock 18, The Fosseway, Lichfield which is situated very close to a lovely run Geraldine used to take. It's a beautiful spot and we think Geraldine would most definitely approve!

If you would like to contribute it will really help LHCT restore this whole area and get the canal moving once again. We hope to arrange a walk to celebrate Geraldine as soon as we are able along the canal route.

Thank you for you support!

About the charity

We are a volunteer-led registered charity restoring the Lichfield Canal and the Hatherton Canal for the benefit of the community. The canals will provide a natural wildlife corridor, a valuable amenity for walkers, cyclists, boaters and visitors and will open a northern gateway to the West Midlands.
