Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
Our page is in memory of our sadly missed Tony who meant so much to us all. His loving Mum, Dad, Brother, Sister and most of all his young children feel so empty without him and so would like to leave a legacy in his memory.
Tony suffered from a rare illness known as Histiocytosis and battled against this for 10 years. He was truly an inspiration, who never once complained about his illness and gave his all fighting against it but sadly died aged 36 years on 13th October 2012 whilst in the care of Warrington ICU. The staff there gave great care and comfort to our family and helped to ease what is the most distressing time for any family.
As a family we wanted to give something back to the unit, so we hope to do him proud and raise as much money as possible for a good cause that will continue to help many other families.
If you feel you can support us, your generosity could help so many patients in ICU. However big or small every penny will count.
Tony’s Daughter, Mia Rose wants you all to share her memories of her fabulous Dad:
“On the phone I was called Cheese Feet & Dog Breath, things like that. He was a big football fan, he loved Man U. His favourite music was Florence & the machine. He loved Bounty’s and little men sweets. He was caring, funny and sarcastic. He was the best Dad in the world.”
Thank you for taking a moment to read our story and hopefully you will feel you can help us achieve a fabulous donation.
