Sue Ryder is here to make sure everyone approaching the end of their life or living with grief can get the support they need. There is no one size fits all when it comes to how we cope and the help we need, but with our support, no one has to face dying or grief alone. We are there when it matters.

Story

Owls’ mascots Ozzie and Barney are in full training this week ahead of The Mascot Gold Cup race on April 26th, which promises to be a hoot.

The race is hailed as ‘The World’s Largest Mascot Race’ held at Wetherby Races and raises money for charities including Sue Ryder Care. Previous races have raised over £50,000 for charity and Ozzie and Barney were keen to join in the 2009 race, as it looks to be the biggest one yet with around 100 mascots expected to turn out.
