Every day in the UK, another 240 people wake up to the catastrophic impact of a stroke. The Stroke Association is the only charity in the UK providing lifelong support for all stroke survivors and their families.

Story

Last year you helped me raise £1600 for The Stroke Association, a charity that supports stroke survivors, funds research into stroke prevention and treatment and widely shares information about recognising a stroke, the types of stroke and their various effects. It was this information I used when I heard the news of Dad's stroke in 2011 while I was thousands of miles away. My dad was one of 15 million people to suffer a stroke in 2011 and one of the 5 million who died within the first ten days. In his memory and as part of the annual Project4Awesome, an online video event raising money for thousands of charities, I need all the help I can get to reach my target of £5000. Thanks for your support!
