Wigginton Grasshoppers girls Greens U16s are raising funds for Marie Curie by taking on the challenge of walking up Pen-y-ghent, one of the three Yorkshire Peaks.  The girls (and coaches) are doing this with family and friends, as a way of saying Thank You to our team sponsor, Upside Down Design. Upside Down Design has continued to support our team during these difficult and turbulent times, and so we want to give something back by raising money for a charity chosen by Upside Down Design, which is Marie Curie. This is a wonderful charity that provides care and support for people living with any terminal illness across the UK. Their nurses work night and day in people’s homes and hospices to offer specialist care. They also support people emotionally, provide practical information, and match them with trained volunteers.
