Project 500 is a movement to raise £500,000 for Mind Over Mountains by June 2025, to significantly grow our charity so we can support more people with their mental health across the UK, through therapeutic outdoor experiences.

Story

We are walking in memory of our kind, clever and extremely funny friend, Paul, who died due to alcoholism last summer. Paul walked, he loved Dartmoor and he supported Mind Over Mountains.

We are meeting at the Pimple, next to the golf club at the top of Down Road, Tavistock at 10am on Saturday 27 July. There will be a short walk option and those who are up for a longer walk will go to Pew Tor. Please join us!

Paul's friends are joining the Mind Over Mountains Project 500 to help them raise £500,000 by June 2025, so they can provide more mental health support in nature to everyone who needs it across the UK.

Mind Over Mountains is a ground-breaking charity helping people overcome mental health challenges through therapeutic outdoor experiences. Our specialist wellbeing walks and retreats bring together professionally guided hill-walking, mindfulness, and quality time with experienced coaches and counsellors.

£25 could cover someone's travel costs to attend

£60 could fund a follow-on coaching or counselling session for an individual participant.

£90 could fund the full cost of a bursary place on one of our wellbeing walks
