I will be running my very first race on Saturday 25th of May at the Edinburgh Marathon Festival, as I take on the Kid's Kilometre.

I wanted to run a race like my mummy, who adopted me with the help of St Andrew's Children's society. They helped my mummy and daddy through the process of adoption, finding me, and making us a family.

St Andrews children's society help children and families, all over Edinburgh and Scotland through adoption and fostering services. They offer support, guidance and training and take steps in creating new families, providing children with safe and loving homes for life.

1km may not seem far to the average adult, but for my little legs its going to be a challenge. So I have enlisted my mummy to help me train over the next 6 weeks.
