Story
November is Mouth Cancer Action month. The Mouth Cancer Foundation is a charity dedicated to supporting those living with mouth cancer as well as other head and neck cancers.
Every year there are approximately 10,700 new cases diagnosed which leads to approximately 4000 people losing their life.
My dad, Sacha, was diagnosed with mouth cancer in 2024. He had a 19 month long fight, trying extensive surgery, 5 different treatments and multiple trips abroad to see if anything globally could help him. Heartbreakingly on the 22nd April 2026, he lost his battle with this horrible disease.
During his fight, he continued to be as positive as possible and showed nothing but strength and resilience so this upcoming November I am going to be running and /or walking 100km to raise awareness of mouth cancer for the mouth cancer foundation.
Every single penny raised through this challenge will be donated directly to The Mouth Cancer Foundation fundraising page.
Your support will keep me motivated every step of the way as I make my Dad proud.
I am doing this for Dad and for every person who is living with mouth cancer.
Thank you so much for your kindness, generosity, and support. It truly means the world 🧡🧡
