I'm taking on 100 miles in November to help transform the future of pancreatic cancer. I'm doing this for all the people who have to fight or are affected by this awful disease, but mostly for my Mum who has been so brave and strong battling against it for three years now and continues to do so every day.

I will ride at least 100 miles but aim to do as much over that as I can...not a lot for a road cyclist but a big number for a podgy mountain biker! Before anyone asks...miles done on my e-bike will not count towards the total ;)

Pancreatic cancer is the deadliest common cancer. Half of people with the disease die within three months of diagnosis. With research underfunded and left behind, people are left with only hope to hold onto.
