Children's Hearts UK (formally the Children's Heart Federation (CHF)) are the leading national charity championing children with heart conditions, dedicated in empowering these children, their families, and carers.

Their vision is that all children with heart conditions have their medical and social needs met so they can live the fullest life possible. The mission is to provide recognition, research, and resources to support those affected by children’s heart conditions.

Children’s Hearts UK holds a special place in the hearts of the Maggs family. Tom and his family experienced the incredible support of the charity, when their son Jude Maggs underwent open-heart surgery at 10 months old.

Jude was diagnosed with a large ventricular septal defect in his heart and required surgery to repair the hole. The operation was a success, and Jude is now thriving — gaining weight, breathing much better, and enjoying life.

The support from Children’s Heart UK helped Jude and his family through the toughest times imaginable.
