Lake District Challenge 2024 · 8 June 2024 ·

Dementia UK is the specialist dementia nurse charity. Our nurses, called Admiral Nurses – who we continually support and develop – provide life-changing care for families affected by all forms of dementia, including Alzheimer’s disease.

Story

Hello everyone. Along with a group of friends I've foolishly/happily signed up to a challenge again !! that is going to not only push ourselves both mentally and physically but more importantly its an opportunity for us to raise money for some amazing charities.

On the 8th of June, we will attempt to complete a 100km running challenge. This challenge also involves 2500 meters of hills to run up which should be easy.....😂

The main reason for pushing myself is to raise money for charity. As everyone knows Denentia is a truly horrible thing to see any person go through, especially a family member and any part I can play in raising money for Dementia UK to help fight this disease is worth it.

Any support would be massively appreciated.

Thank you for reading...wish me luck!
