Story
This year I’m taking on two huge trail races as part of the UTMB (Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc) series — one of the biggest trail running events in the world: the UTMB UTS 80K in Snowdonia and the UTMB OCC 57K World Finals in Chamonix.
Together, I have 109,800 seconds to finish them both. So I’m aiming to raise £1,098 — one penny for every second.
The OCC World Finals have been a goal of mine for the past 3 years, and I qualified through previous UTMB races. Getting there means a huge amount to me.
I’m raising money for In My Wildest (Charity No. 1211670), which helps fund travel insurance for people living with cancer — helping people make precious memories through travel when it matters most.
I’m also making this a challenge for everyone donating:
When you donate, leave your guess for how many seconds it will take me to complete both races combined.
Choose any number between 0 and 109,800.
The 3 closest guesses will win a prize.
So please donate if you can, support an amazing cause, and have a guess.
