Running 10 miles for 10 days in run up to 10 year anniversary celebration

Calum Stephens is raising money for Ponies Help Children

10 miles for 10 days for 10 year anniversary of charity

We rescue ponies, turn their lives around with love, trust and predicable routines. They then work with people with ASN to improve their mental health and well-being, through Equine Assisted Learning techniques.

Story

Ponies Help Children was founded in 2015 by a passionate team dedicated to making a difference in the lives of children and young adults. Our mission is to support these individuals through the transformative power of Equine Assisted Therapy. With 15 rescue ponies, we provide sessions that not only foster emotional healing but also build confidence and resilience.

As we approach our 10-year anniversary, we are excited to celebrate a decade of impact and growth. However, to continue offering our vital services, we need your help. We are seeking funding to keep costs manageable for our service users, ensuring that no child is turned away due to financial constraints.

In honour of this milestone, I am challenging myself to run 10 miles each day for 10 days across central Scotland, visiting local authorities that have supported us throughout the years. This will start on Thursday, the 24th of July and finish on Saturday, the 2nd of August. My goal is to raise Β£1,000 to support our programs and care for our beloved ponies. Together, we can continue this important work and change lives for the better. Join me in this journey and support Ponies Help Children today!
