After last year’s great success, 10T is about to participate in another 24-hour form challenge!!!! On Monday 18th December, we are doing a 24-hour sports challenge to raise money for Simon’s Heroes, a charity who raises money for children with life-limiting illnesses. (see details)
Simon’s Heroes was founded in 2013 after a group of old friends reunited to hold a charity football tournament, honouring the memory of their friend. They started a program of weekly sessions to get fit for the event. After the tournament was over, they continued their outdoor training and event participation to help raise money for local children in need. Our 24-hour sports challenge will go a long way in helping other children like Charlie, Simon’s Heroes’ first beneficiary. Charlie had cerebral atrophy, a degenerative condition which affected his balance and muscle movement.
Throughout the night and the following morning, 10T’s students will participate in a range of sports activities in 1-hour rotations, including badminton, netball, table tennis, cricket and football to name a few. These persevering students worked incredibly hard to dance the night away for a good cause last year. They are once again rising to the challenge, despite being fully aware of the demands that are involved in a 24-hour event. Since the challenge is taking place in the Christmas holiday, the students will be giving up their own time to raise money for Simon’s Heroes - an incredible testimony to their commitment and effort!
If you are able to assist us in raising money, please donate whatever you can on our
Every penny counts!
