12 walks to mark 12 years without Phil for The Brain Tumour Charity

12 walks to mark 12 years
I am motivated to raise money for The Brain Tumour Charity, in memory of my Dad, Phil, to ensure that people who are diagnosed with brain tumours live longer and have the support and care they need to live a life without pain or fear.
My Dad was diagnosed with multiple rare brain tumours (Gliomatosii Cerebri) in late 2012. A few weeks after diagnosis, he passed away.
He had just turned 57.
Together, with my Mum, we are completing a series of walks, one each month for a whole year, this will be 12 by December 2024, which will mark 12 years since Dad died.
We are fundraising throughout 2024 and I hope that the funds I raise can support The Brain Tumour charity to continue its vision and help fund research that will increase survival and improve the quality of life for anyone experiencing a brain tumour, in memory of my Dad.
There is too little funding given to research into brain tumours and I hope that by donating funds to The Brain Tumour Charity it will enable you to carry on your work. There are people and families experiencing diagnosis' as we speak, there are families worried about their loved ones and there are people living with Brain Tumours who deserve us to fight to accelerate a cure for brain tumours.
