14 Shades of Cold for Malvern Special Families

Martin Kent is raising money for Malvern Special Families

Cold Water Dips

Malvern Special Families supports families who have children with a disability or special needs. We provide a fantastic range of fun and exciting activities for children aged 5 - 17 years; Saturday Clubs, Youth Groups, and Holiday Playschemes in Malvern and Worcester.

Story

I'm raising money on behalf of Royds Lodge No.1204 to donate to Malvern Special Families.

During the month of February I will be taking 14 Dips/Swims in various cold water locations and if I cant get to one i'll be using my own plunge pod from @PolarTub. So regardless of weather conditions or location there will be no excuses for me to experience 14 shades of cold suffering for a very good cause .

From the Malvern Special Families website - "We are proud of our small charity’s roots. Set up in Malvern in the 1980s, when a group of parents who had children with special needs, got together for mutual support and for their children to play together and socialise. Over the years we have grown, whilst keeping our families interests at the heart of everything we do. We became a registered charity in 1993. Since then the clubs we offer have continued to improve in the quality of provision and we now offer support to around 150 families in the Malvern and Worcester area."
