150 miles for CFC · 27 August 2024

September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. Take on our '5 a day' challenge to raise awareness and support for the 5 children diagnosed with cancer everyday in the UK. Cycle 5 miles a day or 150 miles throughout the month to show your support.

Story

5 children are diagnosed with cancer every day in the UK. That’s 150 children during this September and 1,800 new cases every year.

I’m joining Cyclists Fighting Cancer’s 5 a day campaign by completing a 150 mile solo ride along the Rebellion Way in Norfolk on the 27th August. This will be my longest ride yet by 50 miles and the gravel sections are likely to add an extra challenge!

I’m doing this for CFC and in memory of a much loved pupil, Barnaby. Having seen the positive impact charities like CFC can have on daily life for children with cancer, I know that even the smallest contributions can make a big difference!

Thank you in advance for your support.
