I'm Meg and for those who don't know me I'm a 20 something year old junior doctor who over the last few years has developed a particular penchant for endurance sport.

Somehow - type 2 fun is now my thing and I love spending time clocking up the miles whether that be on wheels, in the pool or plodding along searching for cracking scenary.

Each day, I'm grateful that my body is able to do this as just over 6 months ago I donated a kidney to my Mum in order for her to get her life back on track. We have literally built from the ground back up and now I'm planning a mega adventure across the UK raising money for Sarcoma UK.

3 year ago, one of my greatest pals was diagnosed with Sarcoma - a rare soft tissue cancer. It is one of the most difficult cancers to diagnose, and one of the hardest to treat. She spent months fighting (like an absolute trooper) through chemotherapy and the operations that ensued and in February 2023 she was able to ring the bell to signal the end of her treatment. I've known for a while that another fabulous (read potentially stupid) endurance challenge was on the cards but I knew that it had to be good - and I simply cannot think of a better cause than to raise money for the national charity Sarcoma UK which funds vital research, offers support for anyone affected by Sarcoma cancer and campaigns for better treatment.

So here it is - 15 in 15 - 15 middle distance triathlons in 15 days in the 15 different national parks in the UK. A 2K swim, 90K cycle and 21km run ... every day for 15 days and I'm hoping to raise £15,000 for charity.

A true once in a lifetime adventure and a celebration of what the human body can do - this ones for Em and all those affected by Sarcoma.

The world is tough place at the moment so anything that you feel you could give towards this cause would mean the world - thank you oodles and oodles!
