The Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge-

The Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge is a circular hike that includes three of the highest peaks within the Yorkshire dales, Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough. This route covers approximately 24.5 miles, close to a marathon, with over 1,600 metres in ascent distance and is to be completed in under 12 hours time.

Two earthquakes have struck southern Turkey (now known as Türkiye), near the Syrian border.

Reports say more than 21,000 people have been killed and thousands of families have been forced from their homes exposing them to freezing winter temperatures and snowstorms.

Rescuers are racing against time to reach children trapped under rubble.
